- Krispy Kreme would provide Reese’s limited edition Original Filled Chocolate Lovers and Peanut Butter Lovers doughnuts across its stores.
- This announcement comes weeks after the company unveiled a renovated store in North Carolina that boasts of a revamped menu.
Krispy Kreme Doughnut Inc., a renowned American doughnut company, has reportedly introduced two doughnut flavors in partnership with Reese’s, an American chocolate company.
Reports cite, the doughnuts can be a new favorite sugary delight to people with some saying that they could either be a peanut butter chocolate lover’s dream or a new nightmare for diabetic patients.
The chain of doughnut would be providing Reese’s limited edition Original Filled Chocolate Lovers and Original Filled Peanut Butter Lovers doughnuts. These doughnuts are not at all like the Reece’s stuffed doughnuts the company has unveiled before. The new flavors look just like an Original Glazed; however, they are filled with either peanut butter/chocolate or peanut butter.
The Chief Marketing Officer at Krispy Kreme, Dave Skena stated that the company’s latest co-creation with Reese’s is its best doughnut offering created till date. Skena added that if the technology exists to fill the doughnuts of Krispy Kreme with Reese’s Peanut Butter Kreme as well as Chocolate Kreme, then it should surely be served in America.
The new doughnuts would have over 300 calories and 27 grams of sugar, and are specifically designed to be companions of the new Peanut Butter Lovers Cups by Reese’s, which consist of a peanut butter layer on the top.
This announcement comes mere weeks after the company unveiled a renovated store in North Carolina, complete with its own refurbished menu that puts even more focus on attracting a lot of customers. The store sells blends like doughnut milkshakes and doughnut ice cream sandwiches, though these choices are not available across the nation.
According to reports, financial details pertaining to the doughnut flavor collaboration has not been released publicly yet.
