Huawei launches Hungama as AppGallery’s online streaming platform

To compete with App Store and Play Store, Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd., a Chinese tech giant, has been working diligently to bring partners in its AppGallery. As per the latest headline, Huawei is bringing streaming platform Hungama in its AppGallery marketplace for online content.

As per sources, Hungama has now become an official streaming platform of choice for Honor as well as Huawei smartphones in the nation. With this partnership, Huawei and Honor mobile users will be able to enjoy unlimited video streaming and unlimited music by downloading Hungama’s Apps from AppGallery.

With this collaboration, users can stream over 10 million songs and music videos in more than 20 International and Indian languages. Moreover, on Hungama Play, users can stream more than 5000 movies in English, Hindi, and other regional languages, original shows, over 1500 short films, and more than 7500 hours of TV and Kids content.   

Besides, users can also enjoy 150,000 short-format videos across numerous genres such as film gossip, music, spiritual, and more.

Speaking on the partnership, Charles Peng, President, Huawei, and Honor India customer business group said that the company is delighted to partner with Hungama, and this partnership would offer a perfect amalgamation of entertainment, technology, and exceptional experience to Huawei and Honor users.

Mr. Peng added that this collaboration is a step forward to strengthen its efforts to develop a smarter future and offer cutting-edge app experience to users.

Siddhartha Roy, COO at Hungama Digital Media said that the company is glad to collaborate with Huawei and offer its apps on Huawei’s App Gallery for users in more than 170 countries. The company is certain that Honor and Huawei device users would appreciate the company’s apps for their intuitive interface and wide library.
