Tecno has recently unveiled a delivery to the doorstep initiative in India. The company’s network of retail shops that consists of more than 35,000 outlets scattered in the country will be delivering the smartphones to the doorstep of the consumers as a part of the initiative.
The firm has said that the initiative will be helping the retailers to revive their businesses while also making the consumers capable of buying devices that are available in the catalog of the company without having to leave the safety of their homes.
Apparently, the customers will have to connect with a particular retailer from around their location and place an order for them in order to buy a new Tecno smartphone. Consumers can also locate retailers nearest to them by entering the PIN code at the micro-site of the firm. They can also click into the site in order to locate a store close to them alternatively.
After the customers place their order, it is generally delivered to them within a span of 24 hours. The customers will not have to pay additional charges to avail the services.
TRANSSION India CEO, Arijeet Talapatra said that the Doorstep Delivery initiative has been a lead generation model that will further help the company to build an environment of business, helping the retailers get empowered as well as the ones who are widely involved in the supply chain.
Talapatra further added that the operations shall be carried out in conformity according to the prescribed advisory as well as guidelines that are set by the government.
The company has stated that it will also be delivering a few of its popular devices such as CAMON 15Pro, CAMON 15 and the Spark Go Plus. It is also providing special offers on the purchase of all such devices which is a part of the doorstep delivery offer.
