Zoomlion Agricultural Machinery reportedly inked an MoU with Cambodia Ministry of Forestry, Fisheries and Agriculture. The company, a subsidiary of the renowned construction machinery manufacturing firm, Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science and Technology, has signed the agreement to promote the agriculture mechanization and applications of intelligent agricultural technologies. The MoU signing ceremony was conducted on 19th November at Phnom Penh, Cambodia. During the signing ceremony, Zoomlion also reportedly announced that it plans to donate high-end agricultural equipment which includes mechanized corn manufacturing equipment as well as intelligent dryers. These equipment would further aid the development and transformation of the country’s modern agriculture. President of Zoomlion Agricultural Machinery, Xiong Yanming stated that the company’s strategic cooperation with Cambodia would start from promoting the mechanized production and planting of corn and the combined research and application of intelligent drying technology. The company’s extensive participation in the transformation of Cambodias agricultural industries is setting a new example of international agricultural cooperation that would help several other countries soon, Yanming said, adding that Zoomlion looks to launch more mechanization products and solutions and intelligent agricultural technologies in the future, that would contribute to the development of Cambodias agricultural market in the forthcoming years.
